Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Zermatt Origin 6.5 Creedmoor 18" 1:7.5 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel for Zermatt Origin actions is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and engineered as a premium drop-in upgrade for shooters seeking lightweight performance and match-grade precision. This configuration features an 18-inch barrel with a 1:7.5 twist rate optimized for stabilizing modern high-ballistic-coefficient 6.5mm projectiles while maintaining the outstanding accuracy and versatility of the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge. Precision 5-groove rifling promotes exceptional bore consistency, reduced fouling, and repeatable shot-to-shot performance, while the Sendero contour enhances barrel rigidity and harmonic stability without adding unnecessary weight.

Constructed around a match-grade stainless steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the barrel provides an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, enhanced thermal stability, and reduced point-of-impact shift during extended firing sessions. Technical features include a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for compatibility with suppressors and muzzle devices, along with direct-fit compatibility for Zermatt Origin actions to simplify installation and ensure consistent headspacing. The compact 18-inch length offers an ideal balance of maneuverability and ballistic performance, making this barrel an excellent choice for suppressed hunting rifles, lightweight mountain builds, and precision field rifles.

Designed for hunters and precision shooters who demand premium materials and uncompromising accuracy, this Proof Research carbon pre-fit barrel combines advanced carbon fiber technology with match-grade craftsmanship to maximize the capabilities of the Zermatt Origin platform.
