Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Zermatt TL3/SR3 Short Action .25 Creedmoor 18" 1:7.5 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel for Zermatt TL3 and SR3 Short Action receivers is chambered in .25 Creedmoor and engineered as a lightweight, precision-focused upgrade for custom rifle builds. This configuration features an 18-inch barrel with a fast 1:7.5 twist rate optimized for stabilizing modern high-ballistic-coefficient .25 caliber projectiles while maximizing the efficiency of the .25 Creedmoor cartridge. Precision 5-groove rifling promotes outstanding bore consistency, reduced fouling, and exceptional shot-to-shot accuracy. The Sendero contour provides enhanced rigidity and harmonic stability while maintaining a lighter overall weight than a traditional steel barrel.

Constructed around a match-grade steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the barrel delivers an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, improved thermal stability, and minimized point-of-impact shift during extended shooting sessions. Technical features include a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for compatibility with suppressors and muzzle devices, along with direct-fit compatibility for Zermatt TL3 and SR3 Short Action receivers to simplify installation and ensure consistent headspacing. The compact 18-inch length makes this barrel an excellent choice for lightweight hunting rifles, suppressed builds, and maneuverable precision platforms without sacrificing the long-range capability of the .25 Creedmoor cartridge.

Designed for hunters and precision shooters seeking premium performance in a lightweight package, this Proof Research carbon pre-fit barrel combines advanced carbon fiber technology with match-grade manufacturing for exceptional accuracy and reliability.
