Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Impact Precision 737 Short Action .338 ARC 16.5" 1:8 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel for Impact Precision 737 Short Action receivers is chambered in .338 ARC and engineered as a lightweight, precision-focused upgrade for custom rifle builds. This configuration features a compact 16.5-inch length with a 1:8 twist rate optimized for stabilizing modern .338 caliber projectiles, including heavy bullets commonly used for hunting and suppressed shooting applications. Precision 5-groove rifling is designed to improve bore consistency, reduce fouling accumulation, and deliver repeatable accuracy across extended firing strings. The Sendero contour enhances barrel rigidity and harmonic stability while maintaining a significant weight savings compared to traditional steel barrels.

Built around a match-grade steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the barrel offers an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, improved thermal stability, and reduced point-of-impact shift during heat cycling. Technical features include a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for suppressor and muzzle device compatibility and direct-fit compatibility with Impact Precision 737 Short Action receivers for simplified installation and consistent headspacing. The compact barrel length and efficient .338 ARC chambering make this an excellent option for lightweight hunting rifles, suppressed builds, and precision field applications.

Designed for shooters seeking premium performance, reduced weight, and modern cartridge capability, this Proof Research pre-fit barrel combines advanced carbon fiber technology with match-grade manufacturing standards.
