Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Q The Fix 6.5 Creedmoor 20" 1:7.5 Twist 5/8-24

The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel for Q The Fix rifles is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and engineered as a premium drop-in upgrade for shooters seeking lightweight performance and match-grade precision. This configuration features a 20-inch barrel with a 1:7.5 twist rate, optimized for stabilizing modern high-ballistic-coefficient 6.5mm projectiles while maximizing the accuracy and versatility of the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge. Precision 5-groove rifling promotes exceptional bore consistency, reduced fouling, and repeatable shot-to-shot performance, making this barrel ideal for precision rifle shooting, hunting, and long-range applications.

Constructed around a match-grade stainless steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the barrel offers an outstanding stiffness-to-weight ratio, superior thermal stability, and reduced point-of-impact shift as the barrel heats during extended firing strings. Technical features include a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for compatibility with suppressors and muzzle devices, an integrated barrel extension, and direct-fit compatibility with Q The Fix rifles for simplified installation and consistent headspacing. The lightweight carbon fiber construction reduces overall rifle weight without compromising rigidity or accuracy, making it an excellent option for mountain hunting, precision field shooting, and custom lightweight builds.

Designed for shooters who demand premium materials and uncompromising performance, this Proof Research carbon pre-fit barrel combines advanced carbon fiber technology with match-grade craftsmanship to maximize the capabilities of the Q The Fix platform.
