Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Zermatt Origin .25 Creedmoor 18" 1:7.5 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Zermatt Origin .25 Creedmoor 18" 1:7.5 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel for Zermatt Origin actions is chambered in .25 Creedmoor and engineered as a premium drop-in upgrade for shooters seeking lightweight performance and match-grade accuracy. This configuration features an 18-inch barrel with a 1:7.5 twist rate optimized for stabilizing modern high-ballistic-coefficient .25 caliber projectiles while maximizing the efficiency and long-range capability of the .25 Creedmoor cartridge. Precision 5-groove rifling promotes exceptional bore consistency, reduced fouling, and repeatable shot-to-shot accuracy, while the Sendero contour enhances barrel rigidity and harmonic stability without the weight penalty of a traditional steel barrel.

Built around a match-grade steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the barrel delivers an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, improved thermal stability, and minimized point-of-impact shift during extended shooting sessions. Technical features include a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for compatibility with suppressors and muzzle devices, along with direct-fit compatibility for Zermatt Origin actions to simplify installation and maintain consistent headspacing. The compact 18-inch length makes this barrel an excellent choice for suppressed hunting rifles, lightweight mountain rifles, and maneuverable precision builds that demand premium performance.

Designed for hunters and precision shooters alike, this Proof Research carbon pre-fit barrel combines advanced carbon fiber technology with match-grade manufacturing to provide exceptional accuracy, durability, and weight savings in a compact, field-ready package.
