Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Zermatt Origin 7 PRC 20" 1:8 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Zermatt Origin 7 PRC 20" 1:8 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel for Zermatt Origin actions is chambered in 7 PRC and engineered as a premium drop-in upgrade for shooters seeking lightweight performance and exceptional long-range precision. This configuration features a 20-inch barrel with a 1:8 twist rate optimized for stabilizing modern high-ballistic-coefficient 7mm projectiles while maximizing the ballistic performance of the 7 PRC cartridge. Precision 5-groove rifling promotes excellent bore consistency, reduced fouling, and repeatable shot-to-shot accuracy, while the Sendero contour enhances barrel rigidity and harmonic stability without sacrificing the weight-saving benefits of carbon fiber construction.

Built around a match-grade stainless steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the barrel delivers an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, superior thermal stability, and reduced point-of-impact shift during extended shooting sessions. Technical features include a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for compatibility with suppressors and muzzle devices, along with direct-fit compatibility for Zermatt Origin actions to simplify installation and ensure consistent headspacing. The 20-inch length provides an excellent balance of portability and ballistic performance, making this barrel ideal for mountain hunting, western big game pursuits, suppressed rifle builds, and precision long-range applications.

Designed for hunters and precision shooters who demand uncompromising performance, this Proof Research carbon pre-fit barrel combines advanced carbon fiber technology with match-grade craftsmanship to maximize the capabilities of the Zermatt Origin platform and the powerful 7 PRC cartridge.
