Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Zermatt TL3/SR3 7 PRC 20" 1:8 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Zermatt TL3/SR3 7 PRC 20" 1:8 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel for Zermatt TL3 and SR3 actions is chambered in 7 PRC and engineered as a precision drop-in upgrade for shooters seeking lightweight performance and long-range accuracy. This configuration features a 20-inch length with a fast 1:8 twist rate optimized for stabilizing modern heavy-for-caliber 7mm projectiles and maximizing the ballistic performance of the 7 PRC cartridge. The Sendero contour enhances barrel rigidity and harmonic stability while maintaining a lightweight profile ideal for hunting and precision rifle applications.

Built around a match-grade steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the barrel delivers an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, enhanced thermal stability, and reduced point-of-impact shift during heat cycling. Technical features include a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for suppressor and muzzle device compatibility and pre-fit compatibility with Zermatt TL3/SR3 actions for simplified installation and consistent headspacing. The carbon fiber construction significantly reduces weight while preserving the strength and accuracy required for demanding field and long-range shooting environments.

Designed for mountain hunting, western big game pursuits, and precision rifle builds, this Proof Research pre-fit barrel combines premium materials and match-grade manufacturing to maximize the capabilities of the 7 PRC cartridge.
