Proof Research Carbon Pre-Fit Barrel Zermatt TL3/SR3 Short Action 6 ARC 18" 1:7.5 Twist 5/8-24 Sendero

The Proof Research Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel for Zermatt TL3 and SR3 Short Action receivers is chambered in 6 ARC and engineered as a premium drop-in upgrade for shooters seeking lightweight performance and match-grade precision. This configuration features an 18-inch barrel with a 1:7.5 twist rate optimized for stabilizing modern high-ballistic-coefficient 6mm projectiles while maximizing the long-range capabilities of the 6 ARC cartridge. Precision 5-groove rifling enhances bore consistency, reduces fouling, and delivers exceptional shot-to-shot accuracy. The Sendero contour provides outstanding rigidity and harmonic stability while maintaining the lightweight advantages of Proof Research’s carbon fiber construction.

Built around a match-grade stainless steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the barrel offers an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, improved thermal stability, and minimized point-of-impact shift during extended firing strings. Technical features include a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for compatibility with suppressors and muzzle devices, along with direct-fit compatibility for Zermatt TL3 and SR3 Short Action receivers, allowing for simplified installation and consistent headspacing. The compact 18-inch length makes this barrel an excellent choice for suppressed hunting rifles, lightweight field rifles, and precision builds where maneuverability, reduced weight, and outstanding accuracy are priorities.

Designed for hunters and precision shooters who demand premium materials and uncompromising performance, this Proof Research carbon pre-fit barrel combines advanced carbon fiber technology with match-grade craftsmanship to maximize the capabilities of the Zermatt TL3/SR3 Short Action platform and the efficient 6 ARC cartridge.
